Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that is offered for two reasons.
First, it is performed to improve the aesthetic appearance of the nose. The goal is to generate a cosmetic result that is in harmony with the remainder of the face.
Second, it is performed to alleviate a blockage of the nasal airway and to create an air passage that allows for comfortable and unhindered breathing. In most cases the cosmetic (enhancing the appearance of the nose) and functional (improving the nasal airway) aspects of the nose are both addressed in the same procedure.
Botulinum Toxin
The gradual development of facial wrinkles is inevitable and generally represents the early sign of ageing. The most common areas of wrinkling include the forehead, the brows and the outer corner of the eyes (crow’s feet).
This is mainly related to muscle activity which can be effectively dampened by the use of botulinum toxin, which is a biological occurring bacterial toxin.
Skin Peels
The skin is composed of two layers. The top layer is the epidermis beneath which lies the dermis. The dermis has two distinct layers called the papillary and the reticular dermis. The two outer layers of skin (epidermis and papillary dermis) may be rejuvenated without permanent scarring using chemical peel procedures.
Chemical peel procedures use a chemical solution to remove damaged outer layers of the skin. The skin appears fresher and rejuvenated after the chemical peel procedure.
Forehead Lift
Forehead lift is the name of the surgical procedure that is performed to raise and rejuvenate the eyebrows. The skin around the brow, forehead and temple areas loses its elasticity with age. Drooping of the eyebrows, horizontal wrinkles and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows are the earliest signs of aging. These give a tired, angry, or sad expression.
Upper Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is the name of the surgery to improve the appearance and/or function of the eyelids.
The aesthetic appearance of the eyes and the vision can be affected in time by aging, environmental (sun, pollution) and genetic factors. Laxity of eyelid skin, muscles and excess fat tissue around the eyes lead to the settlement of wrinkles and eye bags on the eyelids, giving a tired look for the patient.
Lower Blepharoplasty
Forehead lift is the name of the surgical procedure that is performed to raise and rejuvenate the eyebrows. The skin around the brow, forehead and temple areas loses its elasticity with age. Drooping of the eyebrows, horizontal wrinkles and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows are the earliest signs of aging. These give a tired, angry, or sad expression.
Face Lift
Face lift surgery has changed dramatically over the past two decades. Stigmata of early, subcutaneous face lift techniques included an operated, overly lifted and unnatural appearance. These suboptimal results have effectively been replaced by the naturally appearing, predictable and long lasting results of sub-SMAS and deep plane face lift operations.
Mentoplasty
Mentoplasty is the term for surgery that changes the shape of the chin to improve the appearance of a receding or overly prominent chin, creating better harmony of the facial features.
Beauty and attractiveness are determined in a subjective manner and aesthetic features differ according to each individual’s unique preference. Nonetheless, there are certain profiles and contours that cause an individual to appear more or less attractive.
Otoplasty
Otoplasty is the name of the operation to correct protruding ears. Otoplasty is distinguished from other procedures that correct different problems of the ear: Ear lobes may be reshaped, ear piercings may be created or removed, and a whole new ear can be built for patients with one ear underdeveloped or missing from birth or trauma.
Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is a malignant growth on the skin which can have many causes. Skin cancer generally develops in the epidermis (the outermost layer of skin), so a tumor is usually clearly visible.
It is the most common form of human cancer. It develops primarily on areas of sun-exposed skin, including the scalp, face, lips, ears, neck, chest, arms and hands, and on the legs in women.
Scar Revision
The term scar revision comprises a number of treatments that are applied to render scars less notable. A scar develops when multiple layers of skin have been injured.
The injury may have been, for example, the result of surgery, an accident, or acne. A scar may be surgically altered to make it less visible and / or to move it into a less conspicuous location.
